Chasers, it’s time to plan your arrival to Texas Eclipse! Take the following steps to ensure your experience is the best it can be.

Step 1: Familiarize Yourself With Our Entry Days & Plan Your Exit
Wednesday, April 3rd
- 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST.
- All vehicles must have either an early RV or car Wednesday decal + camping/parking decal.
- All guests must have 4-day festival wristbands.
- Guests may arrive early via our Wednesday shuttle pass (Celestial only).
- Must be in line before 8 PM CST.
Thursday, April 4th
- 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST.
- All vehicles must have either an Early RV or car Thursday decal + camping/parking decal.
- All guests must have 4-day festival wristbands.
- Guests may arrive early via our Thursday shuttle pass (Celestial & Transcend).
- Must be in line before 8 PM CST.
Friday, April 5th
- 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM CST.
- All vehicles must have a camping or parking decal.
- All guests must have 4-day festival wristbands.
- Must be in line before 10 PM CST.
Saturday, April 6th
- 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM CST.
- All vehicles must have a camping or parking decal.
- Daily parking will be available starting today for purchase on-site as space allows.
- Guests must have a 4-day or 3-day festival wristband.
- Must be in line before 10 PM CST.
Sunday, April 7th
- 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM CST.
- All vehicles must have a camping or parking decal.
- Daily parking will be available for purchase as space allows.
- Must be in line before 10 PM CST.
Monday, April 8th
- Travel is strongly discouraged. Expect extended delays getting to the venue.
- For your safety, when the event programming ends Monday night, and the sun has set, we ask that camping vehicles not leave until sunrise Tuesday morning.
Tuesday, April 9th
- Egress continues with sunrise.
- Outbound traffic will be slowed Tuesday morning to reduce impact on local communities from 8 AM to 11 AM. Please plan accordingly.
- All guests must exit by 4 PM CST.
Step 2: Understand the Festival Wristband & Camping Decal Process
Here are some rules & points to understand to empower your Texas Eclipse journey.
Festival Wristbands
- All guests must have a festival wristband before entering Texas Eclipse.
- All wristbands are activated when they are shipped or picked up from will call for entry. You do not need to do anything further.
- Texas Eclipse is primarily a CASHLESS event, and we encourage you to register your wristband to link your credit or debit card to your wristband. Visit seetexaseclipse.com/wristband to learn more and register with BEST RING.
- All areas will accept all forms of cashless payment & payment via your wristband.
- Best Ring is our CASHLESS RFID provider while on site.
Camping Decals
- All vehicles entering Texas Eclipse must have a camping decal or parking decal.
- All vehicles entering Texas Eclipse early must have a camping/parking decal + early entry decal.
- All camping & parking decals are activated when they are shipped or picked up from will call for entry. You do not need to do anything further.
- When placing your camping decal on your vehicle, please ensure it is placed on the top left of your windshield and easily viewable by staff.
Box Office & Early Wristband Pickup
- All guests must have their wristbands, and all vehicles must have decals before arriving at Texas Eclipse.
- For guests who did not have their wristbands & decals shipped, you can pick them up from our early wristband locations. We strongly recommend visiting these locations before arriving onsite.

- Corporate Hospitality Staffed Meet and Greet Center at the east end of baggage claim near carousels 5 and 6.
- Dates: Wednesday, April 3 - Saturday, April 6
- Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM CST
- DoubleTree by Hilton Austin Northwest Arboretum.
- We will have a festival box office for guests who need assistance when they arrive on-site. Please expect longer than usual wait times when on-site and visit early wristband pickup locations whenever possible.
Step 3: Plan Your Travel for Eclipse
Experts forecast the eclipse to be the biggest travel weekend of 2024. Knowledge is power, and we want to ensure you have as much information as possible to plan your arrival to Texas Eclipse.
Early Entry
- We strongly recommend adding early entry car or RV passes to your order. These are still available for purchase during the checkout process. If you have already purchased and wish to add, please reach out to howdy@seetexaseclipse.com.
- Early entry car passes apply to all car camping type decals, including all glamping guests.
- If you are not arriving in a vehicle and wish to arrive Wednesday, you can purchase a Wednesday arrival via our Airport Shuttle (Celestial Shuttle).
- If you are not arriving in a vehicle and wish to arrive Thursday, you can purchase an early entry shuttle via our Airport Shuttle (Celestial Shuttle) or Austin Camping Shuttle (Transcend Shuttle)

Rideshare
- We strongly discourage utilizing rideshare programs as a means of transportation.
- Available rideshare drivers are expected to be extremely limited to due our remote location and the increased traffic to the local area.
- Our rideshare company contacts have informed us that we should expect very limited service for Texas Eclipse.
- We encourage all guests to have planned personal transportation or utilize our limited shuttle program.
Traffic & Re-Entry
- Please plan your travel expecting heavy traffic as you are entering the venue.
- We expect Friday, April 5th to be the heaviest traffic day.
- We strongly discourage any travel on Monday, April 8th before the eclipse.
- There is no re-entry for camping vehicles into the campgrounds.
- If you must leave early, contact the camping host in your area so that security can guide you out safely. All camping guests leaving the venue will be processed through the main entry and directed to park in a secondary parking lot. Please note a re-entry fee will be applied to all re-entry vehicles. No guests will be permitted to drive their vehicle back to their campsite.
- Vehicles parked in the Parking Pass parking lot will be permitted to leave but please note a re-entry fee will apply for these vehicles.
